I almost didn’t make this! I wasn’t spotting any I almost didn’t make this! I wasn’t spotting any branches in the week leading up to the party which had me thinking, should I even bother doing it? But I had this idea and couldn’t stop thinking about it when I thought about the plans for the party. I finally found the perfect branch the night before the party and I’m so happy I didn’t trash the idea! It was the perfect tablescape decor and one of the first things guests saw when they entered my apartment. Skip the store bought broom stick and DIY your own Skip the store bought broom stick and DIY your own! I grabbed one some fall decor piece from Dollarama and thrifted another to give multiple textures in the broom. Then I foraged for the perfect stick for the broom handle. Keep in mind, if you’re planning to hang from the ceiling, a lighter stick is better. Then I just wrapped them together with tied with twine and ribbon! Hanging was super easy too! I used a white bungee thread and two @3m command hooks! It lasted perfectly for the party and days later. I’m so happy with how it turned out! Renter friendly curtains! i don’t have curtain ro Renter friendly curtains! i don’t have curtain rods but I had a vision to hang lace curtains for my witchy themed Halloween party. But that didn’t stop me. I threw in some small nails every few inches on the tops of my trim (where no one would see) and with the holes in the lace, I hung the lace on the nails making pleats along the way. It turned out it better than I thought it would! This is your sign that you might be able to reuse This is your sign that you might be able to reuse something you already own for your next party theme! I thrifted this plant pot about a year ago to hold fresh basil for an Italian Dinner Party but it looked like the perfect cauldron if I were to paint it black. This was the quickest DIY I’ve ever done. Just some black paint and some mod podge to seal the inside. I got this little fog machine from Amazon and it added the perfect vibe to my Halloween party for under $10!
