My #1 way to battle the anxieties and fears surrounding hosting, plan it out and write it down! A well thought out party can really cut down the stress that comes with hosting. I like to use my notes app for small parties to jot down my thoughts and to-dos. But for bigger parties, I use a party planning spreadsheet that I created in Google Sheets to track everything and make sure I don’t miss a beat! You know those times when you’re rushing to get th You know those times when you’re rushing to get the meal on the table for your dinner party and you just can’t find the thing you’re looking for… Well it might just be in the dish 🤣 It’s always a mad dash with a side of chaos trying to get the meal on the table, HOT, all while still trying to social with your company. Here are my tips to help with this: - prepare as much as possible in advanced - write a list and label dishes to take the brainwork out of the equation - stop stressing about food being perfectly hot on the table. You’re not a restaurant and your guests aren’t worried. - make only 1 hot item fresh and keep the rest cold - OR make ahead and keep dishes warmed in the oven until ready to serve Hosting isn’t about perfection, it’s about the vibes and connections with your guests.
